Teaching Artistry
Maia specializes in using theater as a subject in arts integrated curriculum. They specialize in using folk tales and original story-building with young people under ten, and history, or current events with young people over ten.
Acting
Maia excels in new and physically immersive stage productions, showcasing a strong affinity for works that engage with the physicality of the performance. With versatility ranging from narration to character portrayal, Maia offers a breadth of options for voice work, while also bringing depth and embodiment to roles in film projects.

Playtime Story Hour
Stories give us windows into other worlds, mirrors on our own, and open doors into imagination. In every Playtime Story Hour we read a story together, engaging with the author’s words and the artist’s illustrations. Then we play! We explore the world of the book together.
Act Like A Human
An introduction to an actor’s toolbox for people interested in perspective taking and emotional awareness, rather than performing. Participants will use tools from theatre and trauma-informed education to work and play like actors so we can better understand each other and ourselves.
Intro to Arts Integration
Art making processes are active ways to engage students of all ages in learning. Participants in this workshop will look at two styles of arts integration as an introduction to the wide array of art is integration options available to teachers.
