About Maia

Maia is a teaching artist, facilitator and performer who combines their experience in theatre, social constructivist education, arts administration, and trauma informed practices to provide workshops and custom coaching.

Their journey has been largely self-directed, seeking out training in trauma informed practices, early childhood education, and expressive arts therapy from community and educational organizations such as Portland State University, The Living Arts Counseling Center and the Indigenous Education Institute.
