Organizations and individuals work with Maia to apply creative, trauma informed strategies to community building, collaborative problem solving, and on the job training. You can select existing workshops and then add custom activities and one on one coaching, creating a package that addresses your specific needs.
Teaching Artist
The work of theatre makers is to listen closely, read carefully, be aware of their emotions, and the impact of their words. Assemblage artists specialize in combining what is there to create something new. As a teaching artist, Maia uses the tools of theatre and assemblage to engage people of all ages in a deep exploration of ideas and stories. Students get the experience of becoming an ensemble and creating and sharing work for each other.
Acting
Maia delights in live performance that allows them to engage with complex language and physicality in approachable ways. With versatility ranging from narration to character portrayal, Maia offers a breadth of options for voice work, and brings relaxed engagement to her work in film.
